SYLVAN BEACH

Public BBQ

This beachfront park is a wonderful spot for outdoor enthusiasts, families, and children. The playground with swings, slides, and a bouncing pirate ship is a hit amongst kids. There's ample shade provided by the large trees, making it perfect for picnics. The park is clean, well-maintained, and offers disability access, as well as spacious parking. It also has good amenities including toilets. The beach offers beautiful views of Pumicestone Passage and the Glasshouse Mountains, making it an ideal place for a relaxing stroll or watching the sunset. The park is well-lit at night, although the playground could use a modern upgrade. While it can get busy, it's generally a peaceful, serene place with fresh air and an atmosphere conducive to making memories. It's also home to various cafes, including a juice hut, and occasionally a food truck on Friday nights. It's a great place for a family day out, with an emphasis on its appeal to children and safety.
